Confirmed for 8.04 beta. It actually causes my hard disc to make lots of
noise; a bit like the heads are moving backwards and forwards rapidly as
if they're looking for something. Launching from the terminal gives
(five times over):
gdmsetup[26218]: CRITICAL: Error opening file: No such file or directory
