Public bug reported:
In Hardy Beta, the default settings for gnome system monitor graphs
(found in Edit>>Preferences>>Resources has the CPU Networking and Memory
graphs all updating ever 1 second. However these settings cause the
actual graphs to update 5 times every second. Similarly, when the
update interval is set to 10 seconds, the actual grpahs update every 2
seconds (when set to 5sec, they update very 1 sec).
yet, whilst the graphs are being updated too fast, every 5 updates to
the graph (ie the period of time set in the updtae interval dialog) the
whole line will jump up 1 pixel and then back down again for the next
update to the graph
Not sure if this is needed but i'll add it anyway: This bug was
experienced on a Toshiba Laptop 1.5Ghz single core centrino 512Mb ram at
400mhz
