Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

1) Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch), Release: 8.04;

2) gnome-panel: Installed: 1:2.22.0-0ubuntu2, Candidate:
1:2.22.0-0ubuntu2, Version table: *** 1:2.22.0-0ubuntu2 0, 500
http://archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages, 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

4) I click on the clock in the high-right corner of the screen, then on
Locations and finally on Edit. In the tab Locations I go in Location
Name and, when I find my city (Europe/Italy/Padova), I select it and
click OK. At this point the Gnome panels crash.
