Usually, broken PPD files can be found by running them through "cupstestppd", but unfortunately, for these it is not the case, see
http://www.cups.org/str.php?L2016 I total, the following files are broken this way (package linuxprinting .org-ppds): HP/designjet/HP_Designjet_5000_PS3.ppd HP/designjet/HP_Designjet_5500_PS3.ppd HP/mono_laser/HP_LaserJet_4240.ppd HP/mono_laser/HP_LaserJet_4250.ppd HP/mono_laser/HP_LaserJet_4350.ppd They are all supplied by HP and I have informed the HP developers now. ** Changed in: foomatic-filters-ppds (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: foomatic-filters-ppds => foomatic-db Importance: Undecided => Low Status: Unconfirmed => In Progress -- HP 4240 and 4250 ppd files appear to have syntax errors https://launchpad.net/bugs/64238 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
