For the development of SPE, I use only one feature and bug tracker which
is on berlios. I just wanted to make clear that reporting a bug here,
but not upstream on berlios makes no sense. As Matthias commented,
marking the bug as invalid was probably not correct.

I exactly want to avoid that bugs are not centralised: if you want me to fix
the bug, report it on berlios. You can imagine that I can't look for all bug
pages on fedora, opensuse, mandriva, as well... I just happen to use Ubuntu
myself, so I work closely together with MOTU to support the packaging of SPE.
This does not mean however that I use the launchpad page of the SPE package on
ubuntu as a bug tracker for the upstream SPE application.

> What do you think about moving bug tracking completely to the launchpad?
I might move from berlios to launchpad in a *far* future, but in that case I
want to move everything (all bug, feature history, but also to move from
subversion to bazaar, mailing lists, file downloads, ...) I don't have the time
to do that and I am not sure if launchpad supports all these features (such as
mailing lists, file downloads). I know that they are planned. If you want to
see this move sooner, nobody prevents you to help me with it. With the time you
save me for that, I might implement your requested feature.

@Matthias:
As he was reporting about the svn version, I felt he was confusing the
spe(Ubuntu) package with spe upstream.
> If the bug is found upstream as well, then mark it in "Also affects project".
I didn' t know launchpad can interact with Berlios.
