Thanks for submitting this problem and helping to make Kubuntu better.
I kann without any problems open a pdf file in Konqueror and save it
with Location->Save as.
Das this happen with any pdf file? Could it be that your mime
associations are not right?
Please give more information that we can try to reproduce this problem.
