It is very clear that i was making a comparison with the download indicator for *all* the packages, not the multiple small indicators. As i have been talking about the old icon since the first post in this bug it is clear that i am not asking for anything that looks "new".
I think the reason why you are purposefully "misunderstanding" what i say is because you believe this to be a trivial issue, however, i have talked to a friend of mine who has switched to Apple and believe it or not his reasons are all "small", in fact we specifically talked about file move dialogues with him. On OSX the icon doesn't change, but rather the button on the bar representing the window of the move becomes a progress bar in its own right. With the change in icon (regardless of the reasoning behind it) nautilus and Ubuntu took a step backwards. P.S. As i am getting upset about the treatment of the issue i'll probably not post here for a day or two after this message.
