Public bug reported:
I'm using hardy 64bit up-to-date on my Dell xps m1330.
When I unplug the ac adapter I can hear a high 'popping' noise coming from the
speakers (or the headphones if they are plugged in). This does not happen in
windows and in gutsy (tested today from live cd).
The only workaround is to almost halve the master volume.
