When reporting X issues, please always attach your Xorg.0.log.  Also,
when reporting crashes please remember to attach backtraces, because we
cannot begin troubleshooting without having that info.  See
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingXorg for details on this.

As I'm sure you read in bug #195843, upstream says that INTEL_BATCH=1 is
not supported and can make a system less stable, so we would not
consider that an acceptable fix for this issue - it might result in
making your specific system more stable by default, but make everyone
else's less stable.  Also, I suspect INTEL_BATCH=1 may not have solved
your issue, just hidden it.

It would also be good to rule out memory issues, since bad RAM can
typically exhibit problems like this.  Please run a memory checker to
verify your memory is ok.  If it is, then attach the Xorg.0.log and
backtraces.
