Hi James,
this is a duplicate of Bug #201059.
As explained by Steve and Mathias, this is being seen due to upgradation of the
samba package.
To make things clear, I have just done normal updates via the update-
manager on my Gutsy box and my /etc/samba/smb.conf file has all the
additional lines present in your (attached) diff.
