Binary package hint: adept-updater
Today (26 March) I got an update for three packages - firefox, firefox-
gnome integration, and libsdl-image. Immediately after update finished,
GNOME restarted, losing me all my open programs except those that had
some kind of data-recovery system. I'm assuming it was libsdl-image - I
don't really see why firefox would have such a problem (except maybe the
GNOME integration?)
This is BAD BEHAVIOR - update should warn before logging out of the
window manager, and should give the user a warning to save all files and
close programs politely before doing so.
