You may want to consider using "etckeeper", then you could see what you've changed in /etc.
An alternative would be to get the source package and diff the contents of the directories. You can see in the "install" target of debian/rules where the files get installed, e.g. lib/* from the source package gets installed to /usr/share/acpi-support/.
