You may want to consider using "etckeeper", then you could see what
you've changed in /etc.

An alternative would be to get the source package and diff the contents of the 
directories.
You can see in the "install" target of debian/rules where the files get 
installed, e.g. lib/* from the source package gets installed to 
/usr/share/acpi-support/.

You can get the source package with "apt-get source acpi-support", after
you've added a "deb-src" line to /etc/apt/sources.list (copying the
matching "deb" line).
