Hello, thank You for answering. I tried the steps described in the link above, but in seems like the gnome-volume-manager doesn't even exist on my system(the package is installed). Instead I used gnome-volume- manager-gthumb and I got this error:
libhal.c 1310 : invalid udi: -n doesn't startwith '/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/'. error: libhal_device_get_property_type: (null): (null) However, no gnome-volume-manager(-gthumb) process is running.
