i've taken a look at the /usr/share/system-config-printer/system-config- printer.glade file and actually there's some inconsitency in my opinion there: frame27 and frame28, as opposed to frame 25 and 26, have the expand and fill flag set to "yes". Changing them to "no" leads to a more aesthetically pleasing result IMO (another screenshot provided)
