Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

This may not be a "bug" in the usual sense, but it is a function that is
almost universally shared by desktop applications. Not being able to
copy from email (Thunderbird for instance) or other Gnome desktop
application to a document in Open Office is a serious limitation. I end
up pasting from a browser or email etc, into the Gnome Text Editor,
saving that as a document, opening that text document with Open Office
as a new document, and then copying from that new OO document in order
to paste into the OO document I would like to have pasted to from the
original source. That should not be necessary in a fully integrated
desktop environment.

** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
