Public bug reported: Binary package hint: hplip
After upgrading to Hardy, when I try to print a PDF on my HP DeskJet 5550 printer at the end of the first sheet the printer hangs and begins to blink madly. I tried to print with Acroread and Evince, same problem with both. I tried the same file on a Gutsy installation and the problem seems disappeared. I tried also to print on another HP printer (DeskJet 6620), the problem persists. Printing to an EPSON printer it's all okay. $ dpkg -l | grep hplip ii hplip 2.8.2-0ubuntu4 HP Linux Printing and Imaging System (HPLIP) ii hplip-data 2.8.2-0ubuntu4 HP Linux Printing and Imaging - data files ** Affects: hplip (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Hardy] Printing on HP Deskjet 5550 or 6620 sometimes make the printer crash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/208401 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
