Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xkeyboard-config
In installing the Hardy beta, I've configured my keyboard to use the new layout br-dvorak. It works fine in X, but in the console I can't type accentuated letters, i.e. ã, ó, ò, etc. The rest of the keymap is normal, and I can type the individual symbols, ~ ^. I think the problem is with the hardy (or freedesktop) packaging, as I had that package (in console-setup) layout manually installed (from http://tecladobrasileiro.org/) in gutsy and it worked flawlessly. ** Affects: xkeyboard-config (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- compose doesn't work in console, br-dvorak https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/208438 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
