Any changes you make to a live session are always lost - that's why it's called a live session !
You can use a live CD to boot up on hardware without having to install anything, so it's ideal for recovering data from a damaged Windows install etc. or just to try it without having to install. I'm currently using it under VirtualBox and it seems OK under that - it just sticks on a Wubi attempt. Someone elsewhere suggested that it could be when a Windows account has a space in the name. -- Hardy Heron beta wubi install - settings import "forward" button locked out https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/205041 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
