Thank you, this helps a lot. Currently I cannot confirm because I don`t have KDE3 installed. But I will test again in a few days. Could you please check if the file "/usr/lib/kde4/bin/keditbookmarks" is there for you and what happens when you execute this programm?
And the exact package version for konqueror-kde4 and konqueror (i.e. with dpkg -l konqueror) and the version of your ubuntu? I assume that this is a conflict between KDE3 and KDE4 Variables. The keditbookmarks for KDE3 is named exactly the same, but is located in the PATH, so when konqueror-kde4 tries to execute it only finds the keditbookmarks for kde3. Thats for now...
