Thank you for your bug report. Do you mean that blender probably crashed, because you've removed the file given as argument? Do you remember when you've removed it? (e.g. before starting some process in blender) Is this reproducible? If so, can you check it with a more recent blender version, e.g. with Ubuntu Hardy (which is available as a LiveCD).
