Hi d_smith,
I see you are running the -386 kernel flavor. Care to try installing
and running the -geneirc flavor for both the kernel and linux-ubuntu-
modules:
sudo apt-get install linux-image-2.6.24-12-generic
sudo apt-get install linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-12-generic
then reboot to the 2.6.24-12-generic kernel
I recall seeing a bug report earlier mentioning that running the
-generic flavor this resolved their issue and they didn't realize they
were running the -386 flavor (another related bug). I just can't seem
to find the exact bug number to refer you to at the moment. Thanks.
