I can confirm this bug.

I have an Intuos3 Tablet instead of mouse due to RSI, and it is no longer 
functioning after the upgrade.
Originally since Hardy, I had to manually add the entries to xorg.conf, and now 
since the update did not change the xorg.conf I tried to comment out wacom 
entries in xorg.conf in case there were a new way of using tablet.
But this made no difference.
I also tried to purge the wacom-tools and the xserver-xorg-input-wacom packages 
and reinstalling no change.
