Public bug reported:
On Ubuntu Hardy (Beta) Usplash quits during boot after a few seconds. It starts
ok, and after 5 seconds usplash quits. The boot progresses in text mode. It
starts with "reading files needed to boot"
Looks like a timeout of some sort (initramfs?)
