Binary package hint: kubuntu-kde4-desktop

After downloading, I checked for any errors on the CD which there were none. I 
proceeded to install Kubuntu 8.04 Beta. What happened is that the system hangs, 
so I had to turn off the computer. After trying a very few more times I gave up.
Installation did not succeed in the following System:
AMD Athlon 64 x2 4800+ (Windsor) Socket AM2
Core speed 2.4 Ghz, Bus speed 200Mhz. 
L1 Cache 64x2 KB; L2 Cache 1024x2 KBytes.

Main Board: MSI-7250 (MSI K9N SLI Platinum Edition) 
Chipset: NVidia nForce 570 SLI Rev A1
South Bridge: NVidia nForce 570 SLI Rev A1
BIOS AMI V1.60 Date: 03-16-2007

Memory: DDR2 4096 MBytes (4x1Gbyte Modules) [MarkVision 800Mhz (running
at 400Mhz)]

Graphics Interface:ATI Radeon X1950GT(VPU): Sapphire X1950GT with 256MBytes,
(PCI Express X16 Lane 32 bit bus)

Pioneer DVR-112D - DVD-CD Writer(DVD-R/RW; CD-R/RW) IDE Interface.

HardDrive 250 GByte SATA Hitachi DeskStar
