Public bug reported:
My computer screen went black in the middle of a "Brutal chess" game. I am
using Ubunt Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 and my computer has a GeForce 5700 graphics card
a pentium 4 processor one gig of RAM and a 80 gig hard drive. After the screen
went dark nothing could bring the desk top back again I tried ctrl alt del, esc
in the end I had to turn the power off. All the time the computer was still
running but the screen was dark. Please advise.
