Some more observations on this: it seems that adjusting the time is not instantaneous, so the clock applet does not update its time even when I click "synchronize" on the system time setter. Again very confusing. (I just noticed, my clock applet displayed 11:20 instead of 10:20, so I reset the system time back for an hour, but I had to logout/login to see the effect in the clock applet. Whyever system time should be 11:something when my local time is 10:something).
Another thing that's missing: there is no option to set the time zone for the login screen gdm (or I missed it). It just showed 11:20 (i.e., my system time), while I'd like it to show local time (10:20). -- Setting time does not work (esp. daylight saving time) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/209381 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
