Binary package hint: network-manager
In Ubuntu 8.04 beta amd64 updated at 03-30-08
Go to System -> Admin -> Network (Sistema -> Administracion -> Red)
Unlock
Select "wired connection" (Conexion cableada)
Uncheck "enable roaming?" (1st option of dialog box, at the top left, in
spanish: "habilitar el modo itinerante")
Change configuration to DHCP
Accept and close
The system don't get an IP
If I manually add the line "eth0 auto" in /etc/network/interfaces, and then
dhclient or reboot, all is ok.
