This is on a dell latitude d600 laptop using the free radeon driver, no compiz. This installation was dist-upgraded from gutsy to hardy alpha 5 when it was released. I will try this on a clean install of the current alpha. I was just going to try cleaning configs as well as reinstalling OO.o binaries but I figured I'd try bug reporting first to sort this problem out.
