Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdebase-kde4
When launched by regular user Kooka does not recognize scanners
connected to the computer.
However, when launched with root permission (sudo kooka) it does detect
the connected scanner without a problem.
Clearly the regular user lacks permissions to let kooka function as it
should.
