I use an IBM X41 laptop and after installing linux-
image-2.6.24-13-generic, my ipw2200 wifi card no longer works. dmesg
shows

I suspect this is because there is no entry for 2.6.24-13-generic in
/lib/firmware:

Sound also doesn't work (after hibernation resume), but I suspect that's
the same issue (?).
