Fresh install of Hardy. I did not, as far as I can recall, have to install anything additional in Gutsy to have VNC enabled in tsclient by default.
In fact, if you look at the package description of Terminal Server Client (tsclient) in the Add/Remove Applications dialogue, you see this: * VNC clients (vncviewer) So either the description is wrong or the package is wrong.
