Binary package hint: compiz
This happens with the compiz gtk-window-decorator and emerald alike.
I've attached an image: The left part shows my titlebar directly after boot,
the right part my titlebar after an "emerald --replace".
Font settings are:
Resolution 96dpi
Anti-Aliasing: Subpixel (LCDs)
Hinting: Deactivated
It can be fixed by writing a script that is loaded on startup:
#!/bin/bash
sleep 2 && emerald --replace
