I can't imagine any possible problems - what problems are you thinking of? In my opinion it is also very difficult not to touch the touchpad. On all the laptops I have seen the touchpad is directly below the keyboard, which is the place where one naturally places the wrists when typing. I don't think this is a matter of learning how to type properly - doing it differently would require to keep the wrists in the air at all times - an ergonomic nightmare. So I would strongly argue against closing the bug.
