I'm not exactly sure what you were trying to do when you got that error.
Nevertheless, since jedit is not in the Ubuntu repositories, I'm afraid
that we cannot accept bug reports for it. Try speaking to the supplier
of the Jedit package. Nevertheless, thanks a lot for taking the time to
report this!
