the new plugin has been committed upstream earlier today, so that it is going to end up in the next upstream release 1.1.12. This will definitly end up in debian and then in ubuntu.
Unless serious reason arise to include a new upstream version in hardy (which I cannot think of), it is very unlikely that this version is going to end up there. If you are still interested in having the new pulse audio driver in hardy, I'd suggest that you apply the referenced patch from hg.debian.org, test it and attach a debdiff to this bug. In that case I see no problems in adding it to hardy, most preferably before release. -- Gruesse/greetings, Reinhard Tartler, KeyID 945348A4 -- Xine does not like it so much when you have no audio devices, crashes. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/131914 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
