Yes, problem still exists in new version:
I have updated nm to 0.6.6-0ubuntu5 and restart..
then I filled SSID and WEP, check netwotk is working and after while restart
again..
all setting were lost in nm again.
** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu)
