Hi have a notebook Dell xps M1530, I'm using KUBUNTU 8.04, all updated.
The problem is about this Audio card:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio
Controller (rev 02)
The internal microphone doesn't work.
The manual for the 7.10 says to install manually the alsa drivers 1.0.16, but
on hardy this doesn't fix it. The problem seems related to the last kernel
2.6.24-12 but, well, of course I don't think the solution is to downgrade...
Any suggestions or ideas? Thank you.
