My Keyboard freezes are back now, even though I dint do anything with the system !! In fact I noticed an important feature of the keyboard freezes, if you have a key pressed when the dreaded freeze strikes, . . . the key remains pressed for the system(even after you have physically released the key on the keyboard ) !!!!
