I had a working setup where I could hear music on my receiver (digitally
connected) and/or my headset at the same time. This stopped working some
time ago but I only found today time to debug this. After a small debug
session in #ubuntu+1, it looks like gstreamer0.10-alsa is the problem.
The problem I have is that I can hear the music only on my headset but not on
my receiver anymore.
It only works after setting the playback output explicitly to "ALSA" and
"ALC883 Digital" but then I can only hear it on my receiver.
After downgrading gstreamer0.10-alsa back to 0.10.17-3 it worked again
as before (sound on both, my headset and my receiver).
