Did some reading and changed name as follows: Made sure that wireless was off by switching to off using hardware kill switch. When boot process got to Starting bluetooth, I hit enter. Logged on and then
cd /etc/rc2.d sudo mv S25bluetooth s25bluetooth sudo shutdown -r now Turned wireless on with hardware kill switch. Ubuntu booted fine. I have to test wireless still. Note: I had to install Ubuntu 8.04 beta 64 with the alt cd and I had to edit the boot command by hitting F6 and then removed the quiet and splash. -- bluetooth start script hangs on HP pavillion dv6700t https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/209720 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
