I have another problem which might or might not be related to this one. I have
set the action for when the lid is closed to "blank screen".
The problem is that when I open the lid again, the screen won't switch back on.
I'm only describing this issue in case it is related to the hibernation issue.
I made a simple script which changes the resolution to 1024x768 and then back
to 1280x800 and it solves the problem (I assigned it to a key combination to
use it when I have no display).
When this happens I was also able to turn the screen back on by pressing the
key that has a monitor on it (fn+F4). I believe it is called "Presentation key".
Sometimes the screen comes on again but it is unreadable and it flickers. Maybe
a wrong refresh rate?
Again this is solved using the workaround mentioned before.
