Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

1. while updating, I usually send update manager to the background to continue
working
on whatever I am currently working on. Now, whenever update manager feels
like it is
about time to pop up a new dialog it pops up right in the foreground.

2. when an update is complete, update manager runs through the whole database
once again. This is more or less time consuming. I usually want to quit
emidiately
and not wait for it to tell me what should be obvious - that there are no
new updates.

** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
