I'm using Ubuntu Hardy Heron Beta 1, KDE 4 edition.
I cannot see any way to configure what my monitor is. Since I can't configure
what type of monitor it is I'm stuck at using the limited range of resolutions
given for generic monitors. 1024 x 768 is the highest I can go, though my
monitor supports 1280x1024 @60 Hz.
