Sorry for the delayed response. Glad to hear this was resolved. I
think this was most likely related to bug 188579 where the -386 kernel
was inadvertently being installed instead of the -generic flavor. This
was causing sound related issues for many. If you reinstalled the
-generic flavor it fixed the issue. It seems like the update also
resolves it. I'll go ahead and close this bug. Thanks.
