The Hardy kernel already includes the vendor and device it in
drivers/ata/ata_piix.c:
/* ICH8 Mobile PATA Controller */
{ 0x8086, 0x2850, PCI_ANY_ID, PCI_ANY_ID, 0, 0, ich_pata_100 },
This is the same as what upstream currently has (2.6.25-rc8). Just
curious if you have built and ran the upstream kernel as well? Thanks.
