I confirm that after installation of Wammu (with gnome-bluetooth installed, upon search for phone the following message is displayed:
"Neither GNOME Bluetooth (btctl) nor PyBluez found, not possible to scan for bluetooth devices" While gnome-bluetooth certainly is installed (I don't know if that is a dependancy of Wammu), but python-bluez is not installed as an dependancy while apparently Wammu is very dependant on it, because after installation of that package Wammu finds the phone flawlessly. So to work properly, python-bluez should be set as a dependancy of Wammu. -- Gnome Bluetooth not found by Wammu under Feisty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/114018 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
