Binary package hint: pidgin
For one friend, there is an interesting display error (or number of
display errors) with tehir name in the chat screen (and all text entered
by them)
The friend's name is:
(09:28:58) (F) (W) ڇ Lani ڇ (W) (F)
This is displayed right-aligned as:
:(F) (W) ڇ Lani ڇ (W) (F) (09:28:58)
All the person's text is also right-aligned.
Finally, when they used a smiley like this:
(09:27:27) (F) (W) ڇ Lani ڇ (W) (F): hello :)
It was displayed (still right-aligned) as:
(F) hello :(F) (W) ڇ Lani ڇ (F) :) (09:27:27)
When I copy-paste the text, it pastes formatted correctly.
This is a consistent problem.
