Following the debugging attempts on kernel bugzilla, this doesn't seem to be
solvable in near future. To summarize the the results so far: The hardware
seems to cause lockups even if the only action is to read from hardware
registers. Also this doesn't seem to be connected to certain locations but
probably to some timing or access pattern.
I will remove the milestone since I do not see a solution in time for the
release.
