Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
Release: 8.04
nautilus:
Installed: 1:2.22.1-1ubuntu3
Candidate: 1:2.22.1-1ubuntu3
Version table:

Files show in Users Trash bin and are not deletable. Doing gksudo
nautilus or ls -al from the command line shows no files in ~./Trash
Refreshing the trash bin does not remove the "ghost" files. I have also
verified with pcmanfm and rox-filer : both show the trash as empty.
These utilities were not installed until after the issue arose.
I also looked on my data partitions for /.Trash.xxxx folders and
deleted them as well. all to no effect.
