Last night, I again attempted to connect to the wireless network at my school. This time, the system seemed to work exactly as designed. I noticed that I received a warning box about a "Domain Name Mismatch" regarding a security certificate for "Meru Networks Management Interface Server." I accepted or said 'yes' to this window, and was then redirected to the second authorization page. I completed this successfully, and was then able to browse to any page I desired.
I don't know if the difference was anything I did diffferently, such as accepting the warning box, or if the system is just flakey, and I got lucky last night. There may have even been an update to Firefox in the last week. At this time, you can reduce the priority of this ticket to low, or cancel it altogether, as you wish. I believe that the system is working correctly. However, if I have anymore trouble or more evidence of a problem, I'll ammend this ticket or start a new one. Thank you all for all work on this project. -Kevin -- Failure to change DNS using custom authentication scheme https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/208255 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
